Vocaloid track of the Whenever I Feel Like It 11

"Is there happiness here? As if being in a dream, I'm aimlessly eager for the one scenery you sought."

The abstraction of today's Vocaloid song makes understanding it very difficult. It's one of those songs that has an individual meaning for whoever hears it. But sasakure.UK (composer) does an excellent job making the arrangement equally complex and enjoyable. Seriously, why don't these guys get paid the big bucks?

Japanese legend is rife with "things that bring happiness." Heck, add "shiawase no" before anything and it's the [blank] that brings happiness. "Fleetingly Eternal Burning Bird" is [partly] about the "shiawase no tori," or the bird that brings happiness to the one who catches it. But would a bird of happiness really be happy to be locked up in a cage? This contradiction proves that there really is no "bird of happiness"... In a broader sense, this song questions the search for happiness.

Depressing? Heck no. At least you get to enjoy an equally intriguingly dark and sophisticated 3DPV. A very interesting portrayal of an entire world made of crystals. If you're not into all that stuff then try to discern Miku's voice from Luka's. It's harder than you think, this song features "Hatsune Miku Append," a new version of Vocaloid that provides 6 archtypal voices for Miku, one of which is called "Dark." Strangely enough, it sounds almost exactly like Luka.

Anyway, enjoy!

I didn't subtitle or create this video or music. I don't own it. Don't kill me copyright people.

Welcome to
The Otaku Reviewers

This blog, "The Otaku Reviewers", was started in February of 2010 on this very same platform, Blogger. At first, it was a venture into the informational and informal world of comics, anime, video games, and Japanese culture. In other words, just a random blog.

Over time, the founder of the blog credited with the pseudonym "RPGhero" was joined by two fellow bloggers and friends with the names "Chansu" and "Deretsun". Together the three bloggers looked up interesting Japanese culture facts, recommended new anime, talked about their own "otaku" interests, and traveled across the United States to various anime conventions.

There have been off periods when the blog ceased production of content and there have been times when there would be dozens of blog posts per week. The schedule varies depending on the lives of the people behind the alias'. However the pattern is that we always get back into the game with even newer information about Japanese culture, anime, video games, and other nerdy hobbies.

The motto of our blog is:
"A cure for your apathy and an inspiration for your dreams. ...Applies to Otaku, anime fans, J-pop junkies, and the like"

The purpose is to blog about cool stuff related solely to anime and otaku stuff. There's no other reason we're doing this.

If you like our blog, please support us in however small a way that you would like. We appreciate our readers!
